Climbers of Color Mountaineering Leadership II Course: Mt. Koma Kulshan (Mt. Baker)
  • I launched a fundraiser at the start of my “Journey to 30”, and it will be live through my 30th climb!
  • The funds will support POC of underrepresented genders (trans, nonbinary, non-conforming, cis women) interested in advancing their climbing or mountaineering skills.
  • Proceeds will be distributed between scholarships for Climbers of Color’s mountain leadership courses, SheJumps POC programming, and POC to Summit Leadership Scholarships.
  • The goal of this project is to build community and encourage more diverse people to show up as leaders in the industry.

Climbers of Color aims to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the climbing and mountaineering community by developing leaders of color.

SheJumps increases the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities to foster confidence, leadership, and connection to nature and community through free and low-cost outdoor education.

The POC to Summit Scholarship is for people to take a course that’ll take their passion for climbing to the next level. Recipients will also be connected with a network of mentors to support them in their pursuits.
